Reliable transport solutions
Our company has been active in the transport industry since 1958 and we specialize in railway transport of loose materials. Thanks to many years of experience we have earned the position of a reliable business partner providing comprehensive logistics solutions for the cement and lime industry. We have been cooperating with the majority of cement plants and lime plants in Poland in the area of goods transport and forwarding. In order to meet the expectations of our partners and other market participants we have been developing the railway siding management services for several years, and recently also road forwarding services.
Our qualified personnel numbers 300 employees.
Our Company has the largest number of cement rail-cars in Poland – 3,000 and vast possibilities to transport loose materials in cooperation with PKP (Polish National Railways). 13 local units are operating within the Company, which are situated at cement plants and lime plants. The local units include railway sidings, repair and service workshops, as well as equipment necessary to perform periodic repairs and on-going maintenance of rolling stock.
In our business we strive for constant increase of the quality of services provided and try to satisfy the Customers’ needs better and better. The fact that we hold a certified ISO 9001:2000 quality management system is a proof thereof.
In our daily business practice we are governed by ethical principles, both in relation to our business partners, our customers, tax offices, state institutions, as well as employees and local communities. Our business philosophy is confirmed by the title Fair Play Company, which CEMET S.A. received in the years 2001-2004.
