Rail transport

CEMET S.A. has been specializing in the provision of logistics services and the organization of rail transport of loose materials for the cement and lime industry. The volume of the performed supplies consist mainly of transports of cement and lime and ashes.

We have been cooperating with cement plants and lime plants in Poland in the area of direct transport of goods from the producer to the recipients. We provide also services to power stations and power and heat plants as far as sorbent, lime and ashes transport is concerned.

We have the largest number of rail-cars in Poland to transport loose materials of specified granulation. We own almost 3000 specialized rail-cars to transport powdered materials. These are 408S type rail-cars, load capacity 55.6 tons, and 206S type rail-cars, load capacity 25.6 tons. The CEMET’s rail-cars comply with all requirements in relation to environmentally friendly transport of such loose materials as cement, lime or ashes.

The transport services we offer are subject to a certified PN - ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
